Debi Flory
Director
A Spiritual Director, Actress and Artist, Debi's long-time dream has been to share her craft with others who wish to practice the arts in contemplative ways. Debi, for 30 years, has practiced and taught liturgical art, textile painting and music in schools, homes and churches in Northern California.
Debi expanded her teaching to Oregon where she facilitates stained glass mosaic lessons and writes, directs and acts in comedy videos.
As director of "The SonnySide Joy Gang," a comedy troupe that provides weekend Joy Retreats for women, she has found the arts to be a joyful and contemplative way to meditate. Her Oregon workshop is the think-tank for fellow actors and collaborators, writing and rehearsing in the beauty of the lakeside retreat.
Debi has created art workshops for fun, for grief-healing, for problem solving, and for self care. Some workshops are just for fun and to learn new skills in varied media.

Lakeside Classes
All classes are held in the lakeside house, D'LightHouse, across from a wildlife nesting area for deer, Elk, bald eagles, local ducks, geese and other native birds. Previously a vacation, rental, the home is now a personal retreat place for Debi and her husband, and is available for small guided retreats.
An indoor art table overlooks the beauty of the lake from a wall of windows during rainy or windy weather.

Lodging
There is a vacation rental next door (sleeps 6-8) to Spirit in the Arts Retreat Center that provides for private rooms and down time. Price is dependent upon how many students will be renting the home.

Joy in Broken Pieces
Grief so often finds us gripped by pain and living in the dark of pain. This class is a hands-on class using stained glass mosaic a vehicle towards healing. A two-day class, you will take home your project for facilitating your healing journey. Contact Debi for more information.
